Description Dandelion met the co-founder of Reserva Zorzal, Charles Kerchner PhD, when he wandered into their factory a few years ago. Recently, they have been running some experiments together to figure out which trees to plant on the reserve. Tasting Notes: walnut, caramel, brandied cherry Zorzal Cacao beans grow on and around a 1,019-acre bird sanctuary in the Dominican Republic. The reserve protects local biodiversity and the nesting grounds for Bicknell's Thrush, an endangered migratory songbird that travels between the northeastern U.S and the Dominican Republic every year.
