Description Colombia, Arauca Direct Trade — 2022 These Direct Trade beans hail from the Arucara River basin of Colombia near the Venezuela border. In this region cacao is an important source of employment for female heads of households and has helped with peace in the region. Tasting Notes: Strong fudgey brownie with impressions of heavy cream and a trace of dark cherry. Offers a creamy, rich mouthfeel. Bitterness is offset with strong chocolaty flavors. Absent astringency and low acid.
