Description Slightly salted dark chocolate-coated Italian almonds, made by their talented team of chocolate makers in Falmouth. As always, their process starts with incredible cocoa beans grown with care and attention by the all-female cooperative in the Virunga National Park, Congo. They roast, crack, and winnow, grind, refine, and conch the beans into chocolate, before aging it in giant blocks. They have a giant copper panner which is used to coat the chocolate around the outside of the nuts, in their factory full of incredible machines, this is one of the most striking. The nuts tumble around in the chocolate as it sets, leaving them polishing against each other to leave an even layer of chocolate around the nut. They are finished with a dusting of Chocolarder's own pressed cocoa powder. A wonderful alternative to a bottle of wine, perfect for sharing or snacking on yourself over a few sittings. One thing is for sure, pop these open at a dinner party and you are sure to impress. The challenge is not to eat them all at once!
